The new name honors Lt. Gen. Hal Moore and his wife, Julia. Moore’s three-decade military career was highlighted by his heroism as commander at the Battle of Ia Drang during the Vietnam War.

Amber L. Moore, CPA, has been promoted to partner at Goldblatt Bokoff LLC of Norwich. Moore, who joined the firm in 2011, has been active on various committees of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and was recently elected to the CTCPA Board of Directors and as Chair of the Advisory Council.  She earned her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Accounting at the University of Connecticut and is a 2019 graduate of the Eastern CT Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program.
