The proposed $1 to $10 million bond referendum would provide funding to renovate or replace the Holiday House pool.

The Holiday House pool, Select Properties development plans, upcoming township events and more were discussed Wednesday evening at the West Rockhill Board of Supervisors meeting.

The greenlight was given by the Sellersville Borough Council, who voted unanimously during a Public Management committee meeting Wednesday evening to move forward with plans to open and complete the 2024 swim season following weeks of uncertainty over the pool's future.

In a special meeting of the West Rockhill-Sellersville Joint Recreation Authority, members revealed that the Holiday House pool may be unable to open for the 2024 swim season, citing a lack of support from the West Rockhill Board of Supervisors.

“If you’re not committed to supporting Holiday House pool, then just be honest about it and let’s start figuring out how we dissolve the Authority so that the pool can move on without you," said Don Crouthamel, chairman of the West Rockhill-Sellersville Joint Recreation Authority.

The funding was granted on the condition that the Joint Recreation Authority provide more transparency about the pool's finances.
