Alabama Governor Kay Ivey took executive action to address fire dangers in the state. Ivey signed a statewide Drought Emergency Declaration, also referred to as a "No Burn Order".

A statewide ‘No Burn Order’ has been issued by the governor’s office. This order is effective Thursday, Nov. 9 at 8 a.m.
