Detroit Lions safety Tracy Walker is ready to put 2020 behind him.  After solid showings in the first two seasons of his career, Walker took a backseat to veteran Duron Harmon and second-year player Will Harris. In fact, Walker played less than 40 snaps in seven of the Lions’ 16 games.  When Walker was on the field, his performance was up and down.  After receiving a 90.7 overall grade from Pro Football Focus in 2019, Walker earned a game grade of above 70 just twice in 2020. DAVIE, Fla. -- The Miami Dolphins defense attacked offenses with a confusing, blitz-happy and man-heavy scheme throughout the 2020 season. But the lasting memory for that unit is its Week 17 loss in Buffalo when Bills quarterback Josh Allen and the starters played only the first half, yet the Bills put up 56 points. Despite spending parts of the season with the No. 1 scoring defense, the Dolphins arent a finished product. While still the strongest part of a young team, Miamis defense can use th...

With 2021 Scouting Combine basically canceled, will Patriots thrive in pre-draft chaos? | Nick O’Malley (NFL Draft notebook) Updated Jan 26, 2021; Facebook Share Maybe. Here’s why. Bill Belichick does not care what draft pundits think. He will take people in the second round that you have never heard of (Kyle Dugger, Jamie Collins, Tavon Wilson, Jordan Richards) and not bat an eye. Patricia didn’t work out, and the Lions are once again looking for a head coach and a general manager, as well. The Lions might or might not hire a head coach before a general manager. But they have an idea of what characteristics they are seek...
