The services at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church on Philip Street in New Orleans at 8:30 a.m., will honor the community leader and son of local restaurant legends.

The Chase Family said "Dooky" Chase III was their "beloved patriarch," and that the educator and community leader died on Wednesday. He was 74.
