Clinging to a one-point lead with less than 15 seconds to play, the Clawson Trojans tightened up their defense, as Korey Perrymond and Da’Shawn Williams forced a turnover with four seconds to play to help the team hang on for a 41-40 victory over Royal Oak Shrine in a Division 3 district semifinal. 

“She was a role model for every kid here in Clawson," said Boys Basketball Coach Eric Stephan. "In the classroom, and the athletic field. She was somebody you wanted your daughter to grow up to be, and your son to go marry.”
