Clinging to a one-point lead with less than 15 seconds to play, the Clawson Trojans tightened up their defense, as Korey Perrymond and Da’Shawn Williams forced a turnover with four seconds to play to help the team hang on for a 41-40 victory over Royal Oak Shrine in a Division 3 district semifinal. 

When all was said and done, it was the Madison Heights Bishop Foley Ventures who got off the schneid, picking up a 33-6 victory over their rivals, Royal Oak Shrine, on their home field. Coach Brian Barnes’ defense forced four turnovers and his offense made the Knights pay, as Foley scored 20 points off those turnovers.
