In a warmup to what will likely be tension-filled Planning Commission and City Council public hearings on the proposed Evans Spring development later this month, things got a little hot under the collar at yesterday's Council session. The story from WFIR's Gene Marrano:

Evans Spring is a 150-acre, privately-owned area of woodlands and marshes that the city calls the largest developable area left in Roanoke.
