McIntyre Township man allegedly drove tractor after drinking
Allen Jean, 22, of 777 Langdon Road, had a BAC of 0.10% when he was driving a new Kubota Tractor LA340 southbound on Route 14 north of Langdon Road, according to Trooper Andrew Dalkiewicz.
“Jean advised that he had some beers with his buddies and decided to take the new tractor for a ride,” Dalkiewicz wrote in an affidavit.
Jean is charged with DUI and careless driving, and was sent a summons to appear at the Old Lycoming Township Police Department.
Man arrested for allegedly assaulting woman
Kalvin Ali Sampson, 29, of 1715 Blaine St., Apartment 2, allegedly assaulted and harassed a Loyalsock woman the afternoon of Dec. 19, state police said. Sampson allegedly put his hand around the woman’s neck, pushed her onto the couch and struck her with a straw broom twice, according to Trooper Robert Jacobs. Sampson posted the $25,000 bail set by Judge William Solomon. He is scheduled to appear before Judge Gary Whitema

A Philadelphia man who allegedly led police on a 25-mile high-speed chase across county lines has been arraigned for his charges and had his bail set.
Tamir David Hall-Jones, 25, was hit with 16 charges related to the incident, which began when Jason Bentley, deputy chief of the Montoursville Borough Police Department, met him at the Montoursville WalMart Sunday evening at around 8. This incident eventually led to him allegedly taking off in his 2013 Chevy Malibu toward Northumberland County, resulting in a crash, according to police.
Hall-Jones faces 16 charges related to the incident which totalled a maximum possible 24 years of imprisonment and a maximum possible fine of $51,235-53,635, plus costs.
Woman arraigned on loitering charges
Chy Ann McCormick, 46, of Williamsport, allegedly knocked on the door of a Memorial Avenue property while intoxicated, causing a loud disturbance at around 10 p.m.
Dec. 12, according to city police. Officer Christopher Salisbury wrote in an affidavit that allegedly, McCormick would not leave the resident’s porch and that she smelled of alcohol, slurred her speech and could not walk.
McCormick was arraigned by Judge Aaron Biichle later that night on charges related defiant trespassing, disorderly conduct, loitering and prowling at night and public drunkenness. She is being held in the Lycoming County Prison with bail set to $12,000 and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Dec. 17.
