Google Cci Dispute: Google has challenged a part of the NCLAT’s March 29 order that upheld the Rs 1,337-crore fine imposed on it, and also quashing of six of the 10 directives that the anti-trust body imposed on the US search giant to change its business model for anti-competitive conduct in the Android ecosystem.

As part of the proposed settlement, Google said in a blog post it would put $90 million in a fund to support app developers who made $2 million or less in annual revenue from 2016-2021.

Google announced Data Safety section for Google Play marketplace apps similar to Apple’s Privacy Nutrition Labels. Section will summarize app’s privacy, security practices, including user data an app collects, shares. Developers must complete Data Safety form by end of July.

Google allegedly abuse app developers, leading to a French fine of $2.2 million! Some contracts were also changed because of the issue.
