Elections are the heart of our democracy. Our Founding Fathers devised a simple way to remove a president if you disagree with him. Its called an election. I learned so much every single day from my residents at home. Their common sense and understanding of what is right and wrong is centered on why they oppose any person using the most powerful position in the world for personal gain. We honor our veterans in this chamber almost on a daily basis. But do we ever follow their lead . Where we serve the people of the United States and uphold the constitution, not as republicans or democrats, but as americans. We should learn from their sense of duty and responsibility to
him. that is a good point. and trump could brag all he wants about his poll numbers in the gop, but this is not going to help at all in a general election. how does a mug shot ever help in a general election? i don t think there is any case of it doing so. but it helps remind ourselves of this. this is a primary season. but it is about winning in general election. and donald trump s poll numbers are already in the cellar among independent voters. two-thirds of them don t want to see him be elected president. so when nikki haley stood out in the last presidential debate saying that we have to face the fact that donald trump is the least popular politic in america. she s right. when it comes to the overall american electorate. but it is hyper partisanship. and these polls might be slightly over stating how much he benefits and republicans want to kick back at people that criticize donald trump. but do they think they make him
