According to customs data, China imported 909,100 mt of petroleum coke in July, a month-on-month decrease of 31.8% or 423,800 mt and a year-on-year decrease of 6.07%.

Traders are bullish on the market outlook, so the new orders have been rising recently. It is expected that the imported arrivals of aluminium alloy ingots after September will be more than those in July and August.

China exported 223,900 mt of PV (photovoltaic) glass in July, an increase of 1.6% MoM and 39.2% YoY. The imports stood at 400 mt in the same month, down 29.4% MoM and 97.2% YoY.

According to customs data, China’s export volume of prebaked anode returned to the 200,000 mt level in July, with a reading of 206,500 mt. This is the second time this year that the export volume exceeded 200,000 mt.

According to customs data, China imported 90,300 mt of lead concentrates in July, up 44.01% on the month, but down 6.92% on the year. The imports totalled 518,900 mt from January to July 2022, a year-on-year decrease of 18.44%.

SHANGHAI, August 23 (SMM) - Customs data showed that China's imports of ferronickel in July were 387,400 mt, which has dropped sharply for two consecutive months, but it is still higher than in the same period last year.

SHANGHAI, Aug 22 - According to the customs data, China's lithium carbonate imports were 9,369 mt in July, down 67% month-on-month, but up 108% year-on-year.

According to the General Administration of Customs, China imported a total of 51,037.4 of primary aluminium in July, with imports with HS code 76011010 and 76011090 standing at 85.4 mt and 50,951.9 mt respectively.
