SHANGHAI, Jul 7 (SMM) -The main railway line carrying coal to Australia's Newcastle port, which was closed late on Tuesday due to heavy rain, is expected to reopen within the next 48 hours, the Australian railway operator said.

According to customs data, China's titanium concentrate imports in May 2022 stood at 210,000 mt, down 56% MoM and 9% YoY, while China's total titanium concentrate imports from January to May 2022 reached 1.47 million mt, down 9% YoY.

SHANGHAI, June 29 (SMM) - According to the latest release of the General Administration of Customs, China imported 2.24 million mt of manganese ore in May 2022, a month-on-month decrease of 16% and year-on-year decrease of 21%.

From January to May 2022, China's total exports of galvanized plate/sheet amounted to 3,365,600 mt, while total imports stood at 636,300 mt, equalling to a net export volume of 3,019,200 mt, which fell 16.51% year-on-year.
