An area of Central Florida known as a magnet for criminal activity could soon get a face-lift. Channel 9 has been telling you about this massive property for years as it's been plagued by violence and drugs. Now, city council is moving forward with plans to do something about it.

According to Palm Bay police, a grand jury indicted two suspects Wednesday after two teens were killed.

The shootings happened in a remote area known as “The Compound.”

Police in Palm Bay have released more information on the arrest of a man suspected of killing two teenagers on Christmas Day last year.

He's accused of killing 16-year-old Travon Anthony and 14-year-old Jeremiah Brown on Christmas Day last year.

Jamarcus Simpson faces two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Jeremiah Brown, 14, and Travon Anthony Jr., 16.

Jamarcus Simpson is being held in St. Augustine, where he was arrested on unrelated charges Friday before being charged in the Brevard murders..

An 18-year-old was arrested for the Christmas Day murders of two teens last year at The Compound in Palm Bay.

The teen was charged with first degree murder.
