Texas distillery Still Austin just released Blue Corn Bourbon, a whiskey made with a blue corn varietal and a high percentage of rye grain

Still Austin is trying to see how different affects a whiskey's flavor.

White says that creating cocktails is like painting or composing music: He starts with a classic for inspiration and then adds a personal twist.

The Still Austin Whiskey Co. recently launched a 100-percent straight rye whiskey made from Texas grains, called “The Artist.”

Now, the grain-to-glass distiller is proud to announce that “The Musician” has a new companion. Introducing “The Artist,” a 100% Straight Rye Whiskey made from Texas grains that’s dedicated to the dreamers, visionaries, and artists who have inspired the team.

The new Still Austin Straight Bourbon Whiskey is made from 100% Texas grains, being a high rye style bourbon that serves as this Texas distillery's flagship release.
