A family helped thwart an alleged kidnapping attempt of a Trenton woman on Christmas Day after reported deceit and stalking from the suspect, according to court documents.

The suspect had stalked his ex-girlfriend for months with the help of a tracker he placed on her vehicle. It wasn't until the victim asked a family member who worked as a private detective that she was able to find it.

A fourth suspect who was being sought in connection with a July 2nd robbery has turned himself in to the Timmins Police Service.
