Bowling Green State University volleyball 6-foot junior outside hitter Kat Mandly says this year’s team has the same goals last year’s team had — winning the Mid-American Conference and advancing to the NCAA tournament.

The Minnesota Recreation and Parks Association recently awarded Shakopee Parks and Recreation with the 2022 MRPA Award of Excellence in Programming and Events for the city’s Women’s Water Safety program.

NCAA Volleyball: Western Kentucky Sweeps Bowling Green

Eastwood boys basketball knew it had a tough weekend in store facing Fostoria and Oak Harbor, but they got a split — defeating the Redmen 68-54, but losing to the Rockets, 51-41.

During the Division II regional track meet in Lexington, Ohio, Oak Harbor senior Peyton Bloomer and Genoa senior Noah Koch came back with championships.

The Bowling Green volleyball team kicked off their campaign at the Golden Dome Invitational on August 30 and 31.

The Wright State volleyball team made more history on Wednesday night, and did so in dominating fashion. 

Eastwood 6-foot-3 senior Jacob Meyer cleared 1,000 points in the early stages of a 61-32 NBC win over Otsego on an alley-oop from Eastwood senior guard Lake Boos.  He was sitting at 1,061 points with two regular season games remaining.

There must be something in the water in Curtice, Ohio. Sure it is an unincorporated hamlet that straddles the border of two counties, Lucas and Ottawa, but the village is producing athletes at a higher rate than some cities.
