Kedria Grigsby, a Klein Cain High School cosmetology teacher, and her son are facing six felonies related to trafficking and compelling prostitution of minors.

A Texas teacher and her son have been arrested and charged with trafficking after recruiting minor students for prostitution. 

Kedria Grigsby, a Houston-area teacher, was charged with allegedly helping her son by recruiting teenage students for prostitution.

"Like you, we are parents with children who attend Klein ISD schools, and we are disgusted," said Superintendent Dr. McGown

Quanell X and Dr. Candice Matthews said Klein ISD knew about prostitution allegations against Kedria Grigsby more than a year before they took action.

 

Officials said there are at least three victims, including a 15-year-old, 16-year-old, and 17-year-old who were reported runaways.

Klein ISD said they had received a report of alleged misconduct against a cosmetology teacher at Klein Cain High School back in Feb. 2023, but was told by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office she was not a suspect in any case.
