In the places where the weather has hit the hardest, both to the north and to the south. Right now were looking live at the clouds rolling across San Francisco from this view on top of mount sutro. Pretty much spread across the bay area right now in terms of the worst. You can see weve got green covering everything. And so we have light to moderate rain over the entire bay area. The heaviest pockets of rain are moving from the north bay across the bay. And over to the east bay. So right now we taking down to street level over in richmond. It all
Toss to weather and traffic. The cold frontal rain band is now moving southeastward through monterey county, with locally gusty winds and scattered showers left in its wake. Flooding remains a concern as water continues to flow down the slopes from the recent heavy rains, but will diminish later tonight and tuesday aside from some of the slower to respond mainstem rivers. Showers and winds will gradually taper off over the next 24 hours, with mainly dry though cooler conditions expected for wednesday through friday. More active weather looks to return to our area next weekend however, with a cold and wet storm system potentially moving in. Spots. Bay bridge wb 80 is min from the maze to sf. Then the intensities are getting boosted in the afternoon. 5 inches of rain in the past 24 hours in some areas. Some more storm reports, we are adding to the toles. Santa rosa 2 inches. Oakland and napa, 2 inches. Concord,. 68 inches. This is the radar from the past six hours. A conrestaurant stream of moisture. We have heavier downpours in these cells. We have urban and small stream flood advisories. Also in portions of San Mateo County they have a flood advisory. We have a Flood Warning in the sonoma area. Alameda creek has been rising. The north bay has a Flood Warning. Its set to remain in place until 8 15 tuesday morning. The north bay is covered here. We have heavier downpours locally.
