A Major Omen, fresh from back-to-back victories at the head of the class, looks to extend that streak in the featured Open Pace on Sunday, Feb. 25.

A pair of $20,000 USD California Sires Stakes for sophomore pacers, along with an Open Pace featuring A Major Omen and an Open Trot that brings out Pridecrest, will share the spotlight on Friday evening 16, Feb. at Cal Expo.

An $8,000 USD Open Pace headed by A Major Omen and Heavens Gona Rock highlights the Friday night action at Cal Expo, which will host racing this week on Friday and Saturday evening.

A solid group of performers will be squaring off in the featured $16,891 Dave Goldschmidt Free-For-All Pace on Sunday, Jan. 28 at Cal Expo headed by Major Offense.

Dropping from Open starts facing the top performers on the grounds at Cal Expo, pacer Heavens Gona Rock and trotter Body Armor will look to score in their co-featured conditioned classes on Friday night. 

Silverhill Volo ended up in a familiar place last weekend in the Cal Expo winner’s circle, and suits up again in the co-featured Open Trot on Sunday, Jan. 14.

Fresh from a smashing victory last weekend, Halleysbigcomet looms an overwhelming favourite once again in the $20,567 Jack Williams Final for pacing fillies and mares on Sunday, Jan. 7 at Cal Expo.

Northbrook Ron, who lost a heartbreaker in last week’s top dance, will be back for more in Friday night’s featured $7,000 Open Pace at Cal Expo.
