Construction should be substantially completed by November, 2025 on The Goldfarb Center for Performing Arts.

The Western Illinois University Writing Center (UWC) will host a Coffee and Donuts event from 1-2 p.m. Thursday, April 18 in the University Writing Center on the third floor of Malpass Library. All WIU students are welcome to attend.

The Western Illinois University Libraries will host its annual event, “Holidays at the Library,” at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, in Malpass Library, level one atrium.

To recognize their service to Western Illinois University and/or the Macomb community, WIU English Professor Emeritus John Hallwas and the late Tate Lindahl received the 2022 Town & Gown Award and the 2022 Honorary Alumnus Award, respectively, during the annual Town & Gown celebration Nov. 3, hosted by the WIU Alumni Association.

S a mid-semester treat for Western Illinois University students, the University Professionals of Illinois Local 4100 WIU Chapter will offer free pizza, while supplies last, beginning at 6 p.m. at the WIU-Macomb Malpass Library.
