Odds On Lauderdale took home the gold in the $23,973 featured District 9 Pace with Brett Beckwith in the bike at Plainridge Park on Tuesday, April 30.

The Saratoga Harness Horseperson’s Association (SHHA) hosted its annual banquet on Saturday evening, Jan. 27 to honour the leading performers, both equine and human, in 2023. 

As the 2023 meet winds down to its final two days, the last top trot of the season was featured at Plainridge Park on Monday afternoon (Nov. 27) and Marquis Lafayette cashed the win check that resulted from his sixth victory of the year in the $25,000 Open trot at The Ridge. 

The feature race on Friday, Nov. 24 at Plainridge Park was a memorial race named in honour of former Plainridge starting judge Rick Flanders, who passed away in October.

Echo De Meautis FR, who is the winningest horse of the Plainridge Park 2023 meet, continued to finish first on Monday, Nov. 20 as he snared the featured $25,000 Open Trot in a hard-fought outing. 

Big Box Hanover and Matthew Athearn found themselves on the outside for majority of the mile that led them to victory in the $15,000 Winners Over/Open Handicap Trot on Sunday, Nov. 19 at Saratoga Casino Hotel.

The full field of three-year-olds that went postward in the $17,500 feature race at Plainridge Park on Friday, Nov. 17 was so good, it yielded two winners.

La Bella Vita N visited the winner's circle for the seventh time this year after she won the $25,000 fillies and mares Winners-Over pacing feature at Plainridge Park on Friday, Nov. 10.

In the absence of a feature division on the first Tuesday (Nov. 7) afternoon card of the winter at Saratoga Casino Hotel, a host of $8,000 conditioned races served as the top classes on the day. Of the matinee action, Melanies Jackson headlined as he posted a gate-to-wire triumph in the swiftest time.

A pair of $25,000 upper-level conditioned paces that were divided by gender topped the card on Friday afternoon (Nov. 3) at Plainridge Park and both events featured fantastic finishes.
