After stepping up to the top class at Plainridge Park last week and running into a 1:49.4 buzzsaw mile turned in by Rocknroll Runa A, Alta Classic A took a step back to the $22,500 upper-level conditioned pace and then strode forward to his third North American win at The Ridge on Thursday afternoon (Nov.2). 

It was ladies' day at Plainridge Park on Friday, Oct. 27 with filly and mare races topping the card and the winners of the top two events exhibited great late-season form. 

Normally leaving the gate fast to cut the mile, Torrid Saint A raced from off the pace on Thursday (Oct. 26) at Plainridge Park and scored the best win of his career in the $22,000 upper-level conditioned pace. 

Three $15,000 conditioned paces were carded as co-features at Plainridge Park on Monday afternoon (Oct. 23) and Paternity Suit A went the fastest of the three in the last race of the day. 

Three $17,500 conditioned trots headlined the card at Plainridge Park on Friday afternoon (Oct. 20) and the most shocking result came in the last one of the day.

Racey Rach N (Mitchell Cushing) took full advantage of a perfect trip to cash in the win in the $25,000 Winners-Over pace for fillies and mares at Plainridge Park on Thursday afternoon (Oct. 19). 

Summit City Sonny posted three second place finishes in a row before finding his way back to the winner's circle at Saratoga Casino Hotel, winning the $15,000 Winners Over/Open Handicap Trot on Sunday (Oct. 15) afternoon.

Ron Cushing won the $20,000 upper-level conditioned pace with his newest stable member Alta Classic A on a Thursday (Oct. 12) afternoon card at Plainridge Park where father and son drivers Ron Cushing and Mitchell Cushing dominated the action, accounting for five wins during the card.

The second session of three-year-olds went behind the gate in the $3 million Massachusetts Sire Stakes at Plainridge Park on Monday afternoon (Oct. 2) and the close competition produced five new lifetime marks, only two winning favourites and seven different trainers each winning one division over the lightning fast track.

Enhance Yourcalm N made a third consecutive jump in class and this week to the top level, $25,000 Winners-Over Handicap featured trot. But despite the tougher company, the results remained the same as Enhance Yourcalm N won again on Thursday (Sept. 28) to remain undefeated at Plainridge Park.
