After a lot of shuffling early in the race, The Wild Card finished with a winning hand in the $25,000 pacing feature at Plainridge Park on Monday afternoon (Aug. 14). 

Gary Levine sent five trainees to the track on Sunday (Aug. 13) evening at Saratoga Casino Hotel and every one took home a cheque, with three making a trip to the winner's circle. 

In identical fashion to last week’s outing, Westbeach led at every station to claim her second straight win in the $25,000 fillies and mares handicap pacing feature at Plainridge Park on Thursday afternoon (Aug. 3).

The Saturday (June 24) session of two-year-old qualifiers at The Meadowlands featured 98 horses; 68 were sold at public auction for more than $10.7 million — an average of $158,200, with 30 home-breds sporting pedigrees that would easily demand another $3-5 million.
