Two assemblymembers from Georgia have sponsored bills that will expand community solar in the state. State Sen. Jason Anavitarte will soon introduce SB

Georgia Public Service Commission Vice Chairman Tim Echols was named a finalist for the Lifetime Achievement award at the Platts Global Energy Awards.

The bill would increase the cap for non-residential systems from 100 kW to 125% of their maximum annual peak demand.

The commission also approved a Distributed Generation Working Group to help improve the process for project approval.
