NanoBio Designs LLC has received a $100,000 investment from the Purdue Ag-Celerator, an agriculture innovation fund.

NanoBio Designs LLC, a company that provides grain distributors and seed suppliers with onsite, rapid genetic detection solutions, has received a $100,000 investment from the Purdue Ag-Celerator, an agriculture innovation fund.

Novilytic LLC, a biochemistry analytics company that protects and secures lifesaving drugs, has completed a $1.6 million seed round in addition to its $1.4 million National Institutes of Health Small Business Innovation Research grant. The seed round investments include contributions from Purdue Foundry and Elevate Ventures.

Sandra Sydnor, associate professor in the White Lodging-J.W. Marriott, Jr. School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, has been named the College of Health and Human Sciences first Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fellow.

Aerospace, automotive, consumer products, medical devices, national defense and other sectors that use additive manufacturing and 3D printing technologies could benefit from quality-control software commercialized by Araqev, a Purdue University-related company.

Mitch Armbruster has been named chief human resources officer at the Purdue Research Foundation. His first day in the position will be May 2.
