Senteon, a startup founded by Purdue University alumni, has created automated security software that improves small-to-mid-sized companies compliance and cybersecurity while lowering labor and knowledge-intensive barriers.

Innovation Partners Institute at the Purdue Research Foundation, together with the city of West Lafayette, the Indiana 5G Zone and US Ignite, have announced the West Lafayette Smart City Challenge. This competition expects to tap into innovative solutions that improve transportation safety at Discovery Park District.

Novel innovations from inventors around the state of Indiana will be on display at the 2021 Purdue Technology Showcase. This year’s theme is “State of Innovation.”

Up to 10 teams of entrepreneurs will develop relationships with industry mentors and receive business-building guidance, and could earn up to $30,000 apiece through a new Purdue Foundry program called Boost. The program runs Oct. 29 through Feb. 24, 2022.
