Remote workers seeking inspiration and community may find their answer on a college campus with all the connections, activities, food and diversity it has to offer.

As part of Purdue Foundry's Boost accelerator program, companies pitched ideas and won investments for technology solutions to problems in additive manufacturing, aerospace vehicles and bovine reproduction.

Three Indiana-based, high-tech startup companies with connections to Purdue University each received $25,000 at the conclusion of Purdue Foundrys Boost accelerator.

Beier first joined the Office of Technology Commercialization in 2013, doubling the number of patent applications and licensed technologies.

Organizers of the West Lafayette Smart City Challenge has awarded $15,000 to build new data-driven tools that increase public safety. Winning teams include a Virginia-based startup and two teams of engineering students from Purdue University. The winning teams and project concepts are:
