Weather Update: Heavy rainfall is predicted over several states of India, including Odisha, and Maharashtra over the next few days, said IMD. 

Weather Update: An intense rainfall spell is likely to continue over South Peninsular India for the next few days. Several states in the eastern region and western coast are expected to receive heavy rainfall. 

According to IMD, a heavy rainfall spell is likely over extreme south Peninsular and northeast India during the next five days. 

According to the IMD, heavy rainfall spell over South Peninsular India, Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and northeast India during the next five days.

Monsoon mayhem continues to bring death and destruction across the country with the northern and eastern parts of the country continuing to be the worst affected.

According to IMD’s latest forecast, many states are expected to experience showers throughout the course of the following two days, ranging from light sprinkles to severe to extremely heavy rainfall events. 

According to IMD, heavy to very heavy rainfall very is expected over east-central India during the next three days.

Weather Update: The weather agency predicted heavy rainfall in the western and east-central part of the country. 

IMD’s weather update: “Intense wet spell likely over Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Vidharbha, Gujarat, Konkan & Goa, ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra and Telangana during next 2-3 days,” said IMD.

The districts of Nabarangpur, Koraput, Kalahandi, Malkangiri, Ganjam, Gajapati and Kandhamal bore the brunt of heavy to very heavy rain under the influence of a low pressure and an active monsoon trough, which is passing over southern Odisha.
