Bennington plumbing contractor Robert Billings ripped off multiple homeowners for thousands of dollars in a string of home improvement fraud cases dating back to 2010. He was supposed to plead guilty to three felony home improvement fraud charges at a change of plea hearing Thursday.

The well-publicized Bennington plumbing contractor who allegedly ripped off numerous clients for thousands of dollars has tentatively agreed to plead guilty to three felony home improvement fraud charges and serve a 3-7-year prison sentence with restitution for his victims.

Robert Billings, the defendant in a string of home improvement fraud cases and convictions dating back to 2010 was arraigned again Monday on two new felony charges of home improvement fraud—plus a DUI—all while awaiting trial on two recent counts with different victims, all of which could land him in jail for life.
