The Carson City Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit is proud to officially announce Deputy Ryan Greb and K9 Proton as our newest K9 team. Deputy Greb has been with the Sheriff’s office for more than seven years, he is a SWAT team lead, and he’s a field training officer in the Patrol Division.

Police say Taps and Dolls has been a source of continued problems, including fights, overdoses and the stabbing of a 17-year-old girl.

Downtown bars Taps and Dolls and 247 Sky Bar have closed, according to the owner.

Taps & Dolls Loses Liquor License Over Connection To South Meridian Violence

Marjorie Maginn, commissioner at the Indiana State commission, called Taps and Dolls 15-page excise violation "one of the longest that Ive seen."

IMPD officers said they are frequently dealing with unruly behavior outside the bars on South Meridian Street.

The board approved the license renewal request for Tiki Bobs Cantina and denied it for Taps and Dolls.
