Reporter Authorities Say a child and adult were shot as they were on their way to school. Both are now in the hospital. One of them was area on his classmate. Tonight there is a story emerging of School Officials quickly jumping into action and saving lives. There was a series of gunshots about a quarter mile away that alerted the staff and they went on an immediate lockdown without having to be told to do so by Law Enforcement. After that series of gunshots the shooter took his vehicle and ramps their fence because he could not get access to any of the rooms because they were locked. He gave up and reentered the vehicle.
