The 120,000-square-feet Center for Medical Education and Research at the Melrose Road and Owen Drive also will be home of the health system’s Neuroscience Institute. A Pinehurst man took home more than $400,000 after winning a prize from a $30 scratch-off ticket. The gunman in a fatal shooting Tuesday near Raeford Road is being sought by Fayetteville police. Cumberland County seeing a downward trend in COVID-19 cases

The Fayetteville Observer More than 21,000 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Cumberland County, but trends related to the disease are going down.
