GREENVILLE โ With many visitors coming to Greenville to enjoy the sites downtown as well as Moosehead Lake and other nearby natural attractions, parking spaces have become harder and harder to find for tourists and locals alike. DOVER-FOXCROFT, Maine โ The annual Whoopie Pie Festival, which draws thousands to downtown Dover-Foxcroft each summer, is returning on June 25 โ and yes, that includes a whoopie pie eating contest. Approximately 7,000 people have attended in other years, said Patrick Myers, executive director of the Center Theatre, which organizes the event with the Piscataquis Chamber of Commerce.
