Following a suspension summary by the state, Whiskey Row has agreed to pay a civil penalty for $26,000 in relation to the death of Dallas Jodan Barrett.

Four of the six security guards charged in the August 2021 death of a man on the rooftop of a lower Broadway bar were not properly licensed with the State of Tennessee at the time of the incident, according to records requested and obtained by NewsChannel 5.

Dallas Barrett died of oxygen deprivation following an altercation with Whiskey Row security, a November autopsy found.
