Oclock yesterday morning. This incident unfolded shortly before 10 yesterday morning. When police say a man robbed a bank on Scotts Valley drive. Then got away in a stolen car. Deputies caught up with the suspect on. On highway 17. And on fire his weapon at him. But he got away. Highway 17 was shutdown for hours yesterday causing a major traffic backup. Then, around ten last night police say the suspect entered a womans home and stole her minivan. She alerted later who located that vehicle but it was abandoned. Then this morning a new twist to the manhunt. The vehicle is described as a 2009 silver chevrolet malibu, california license plate number 3qwi051. Officers describe the suspect as hispanic with a thin build and groomed facial hair. And stands about 5 foot 9 inches tall.
