MOBERLY -- The Fulton Hornets finished as district runner-up for the second straight season, but unlike last year, they lost to the higher-seeded team that could achieve a state runner-up finish on paper.

MEXICO, Mo. -- The Fulton Hornets scored eight runs in the top of the third, and Natalie Underwood struck out eight in five innings, leading to a dominating Highway 54 Rivalry victory.

FULTON -- The Fulton Hornets eight-run bottom of the second inning with 12 plate appearances helped them to a resounding victory against the Moberly Spartans.
