actually this impeachment investigation couldn t really be better timed if you want to have that debate. because that debate would never happen if joe biden were the democratic nominee for president. and i think the most-likely effect of this impeachment investigation, in addition, obviously, to whatever it turns up about what trump did, is to remind everybody that joe biden, whether or not this is what his son was doing was formally illegal or not, is like the preeminent swamp creature in the democratic party, and it s an it s coming at a time where there is still an opportunity to nominate somebody else who actually did want to have that debate. and so, i have sort of mixed feelings about this impeachment process. i don t really want to spend the next year talking about hunter biden and what he was up to and joe biden s views on ukrainian gas. on the other hand, this might be only opportunity to talk about something else by getting joe biden out of the picture. i have mixed feeling
