One of the ways KHOU 11 News is celebrating Black History Month is by highlighting African-Americans' contributions to the arts.

Founded in 2017 as Uncle Jumbo’s American Vodka, the company expanded with a tasting room in 2021.

The 44-year-old Christian rapper, who previously won Grammys in 2013 and 2015, was awarded Sunday for "Church Clothes 4" and "Your Power," the latter of which is a collaboration with Tasha Cobbs Leonard.

Once again, the Houston area will be well represented in the Grammy Awards.

From the obscure (“American Fabius") to the sports-related (“Barry O'Bomber”), here are just a few of the most colorful presidential nicknames.

Houston natives Rodney Crowell and Robert Glasper, who have won a combined seven Grammy Awards, also received nominations this year. So did a local children's musician, Uncle Jumbo.

Fantasy will soon become reality in Gqeberha as everyone from Noddy to Cinderella will be turning up to honour the tradition of ushering in the festive season with Uncle Jumbo’s.

The 36th annual parade featuring decorated automobiles is scheduled for Saturday afternoon. A variety of related events, including a sneak peek, celebratory ball and awards ceremony, will be held beforehand and afterward.
