FULTON -- Although it wasnt originally intended as the teams Senior Day, Fridays match between William Woods (14-4, 2-0 American Midwest Conference) and Missouri Baptist (12-7, 2-1) proved to be a perfect stage to honor a pair of the best in WWU history.

FULTON -- William Woods (11-4) needed less than 90 minutes to put Sundays match against Midland University (6-4) in the win column, with Stepan Mach and Ben Grumley polishing off Midlands Nathen Bitzer and Boris Velasquez in just 13 minutes at the three doubles line.

FULTON -- With temperatures plummeting toward freezing on Saturday afternoon, No. 6 William Woods (9-4) rolled over No. 21 Lindsey Wilson (6-2), clinching a 4-0 win.

KANSAS CITY -- Conventional wisdom in college tennis is that the winner of the doubles point has a huge advantage in the match, but William Woods turned that upside down at the ITA NAIA National Team Indoor Championship, claiming a fifth-place finish with wins over No. 7 seed Xavier University of Louisiana (4-3) and No. 4 seed Southeastern University (4-2) after losing 4-2 to No. 3 seed University of Northwestern Ohio on Friday.

Fulton -- Patrick Shelepov highlighted the day with his singles win to break the William Woods University mens tennis career record. The No. 10 Owls grabbed a 4-0 clinched win over Concordia (Neb.), recording the programs 100th win since the re-inception in 2015-16.
