Apr 8, 2021 JOHNSTOWN At the April meeting of the State University of New York Board of Trustees, they approved the appointment of Dr. Gregory Truckenmiller as the ninth president of Fulton-Montgomery Community College. Truckenmiller has been serving as acting president since Aug. 1, 2019, when former President Dustin Swanger retired after serving as president since 2006. Truckenmiller began his FMCC career in 2000 as the director of institutional research. In this position, he established a new Office of Institutional Research and organized a program of support for internal and external reporting and analysis, which is still in place today. From 2002 through 2009 he served as the dean of arts and sciences at FM. In this capacity he led four academic divisions as well as the Campus Learning Center.
