The constitution bench of Supreme Court on Tuesday resumed hearing of triple talaq case. Arguing for All India Muslim Personal Law Board, Kapil Sibal said that triple talaq is going on since 1400 years, how can you say it is unconstitutional.

The Inquilab: On the occasion of Farmers Day, the newspaper has carried the news of Opposition leaders in the country lashing out at the Centre and demand for the repeal of the farm laws as its lead.
The newspaper has also used statements of senior opposition leaders like NCP chief Sharad Pawar, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav expressing solidarity with the farmers. It has also prominently displayed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi s scheduled meeting with the President today.

AIMPLB members, Sunni Central Waqf Board officials spat over legality of Ayodhya mosque

Ayodhya: With two AIMPLB members terming the proposed construction of a grand mosque in Ayodhya’s Dhannipur village as against the Waqf Act and Shariat laws, the Sunni Central Waqf Board on Wednesday asserted that the upcoming shrine is perfectly legal.
All India Muslim Personal Law Board member Zafaryab Jilani on Wednesday said the proposed mosque in Ayodhya following last year’s Supreme Court verdict is against the Waqf Act and “illegal” under the Shariat laws.
