Operation of ‘chartered flights by businessmen’, an exempted category on the India–UAE travel sector, are subject to strict approvals from civil aviation authorities and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), officials told
Khaleej Times.
The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) confirmed that UAE citizens, diplomats, official delegations, golden residency visa holders and flights of businessmen are exempt from the entry restrictions on inbound passengers onboard India-UAE flights from April 25.

KABUL (Pajhwok): Seven contract-based employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) on Wednesday said their contracts were not renewed and their three months salaries were also pending.
The MoFA referred the salary pending issue to the Ministry of Finance (MoF) which said it had not pledged to pay these employees.
Matiul HaqQasami, one of the employees, told Pajhwok Afghan News they began work in the MoFA translation department based on a contract in March 2020.
He said: “When our one year long contract ended, we hoped the contracts would be renewed and we continued work for another three months, but now the MoFA has informed us that our contracts are not going to be renewed.”

ISLAMABAD: The NETKENT Mediterranean Research and Science University, TRNC/Turkey and OIC Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific & Technological Cooperation Comstech, entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The MoU was signed by Coordinator General, Comstech, Prof. Dr. M. Iqbal Choudhary and Rector, NETKENT Mediterranean Research and Science University, Prof. Tayfun Turgay, in an online ceremony.
With this MoU, the NETKENT Mediterranean Research and Science University will be inducted as a member of Comstech Consortium of Excellence (CCOE). CCoE comprises upon leading science technology and engineering academic and research institutions from OIC member states. By now 20 top institutions/universities have become member of CCoE.

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The NETKENT Mediterranean Research and Science University, TRNC/ Turkey and OIC Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific & Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday.
With this MoU, the NETKENT Mediterranean Research and Science University will be inducted as a member of the COMSTECH Consortium of Excellence (CCoE).
CCoE comprises upon leading science technology and engineering academic and research institutions from OIC member states. By now 20 top institutions/ universities have become members of CCoE.
The aim of CCoE is to create S&T interdependence among OIC member states and build capacity in key areas of STEM through exchange programmes. CCoE was established last year by COMSTECH and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) under the “Science Diplomacy” initiative of MoFA, Pakistan.
