A 33-year-old man has been sentenced to seven years in prison for a stabbing in St Leonards.

The victim was out in Hastings town centre when he met a group of people on November 3 2018. He got talking to a woman in the group, police say.
According to police, Dean Ellis, a factory worker of Old Church Road in St Leonards, was part of this group and became jealous of the victim talking with the woman.
Ellis was told to go home and after he left, the rest of the group continued their night out, police say.
