The state of Nebraska has paid EMS in most of the bigger communities but for the rest of rural Nebraska we are dependent on a growing shortage of volunteers to answer the call for emergency service wether it be for the most serious vehicle accident or a transport for an elderly sick person needing transportation to the hospital.
