Bahrain’s human rights system is moving steadily towards more national achievements and civilised initiatives that are transparent, responsible and credible.
This was emphasised by Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal as he received Bahrain Ambassador to the US Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa.
The Speaker noted that it is in accordance with the humanitarian, legal and international human rights standards, in light of the comprehensive development process of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
She expressed the parliament’s deep pride in the efforts of the esteemed government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in caring for human rights in various fields and promoting the human rights culture at all levels.

Manama, Apr. 16 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa performed today Friday prayer at the Sakhir Palace mosque, alongside members of the royal family after issuing his noble directives to re-open a number of mosques for Friday prayer during the holy month of Ramadan.
HM the King and the audience listened to Friday sermon which was delivered by the Sunni Endowment Council Chairman, Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed Al Hajeri who spoke about the benefits of the holy month of Ramadan, praying to Allah Almighty to protect HM the King and bless him with every success in serving the kingdom.
