CHARLOTTE, NC Charlotte police are asking the community for information after a predawn shootout outside an Uptown hookah lounge Monday morning left one person with a life-threatening gunshot wound and dozens of spent shell casings on the ground.
According to a police report, the shooting occurred around 2:20 a.m. Monday morning outside the Babylon Hookah Lounge, located at 520 College Street. When responding officers arrived, the found one man shot, suffering a life-threatening wound. He was taken to an area hospital by MEDIC.
