SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - A Savannah inmate faces up to 40 more years in prison after pleading guilty to distributing child pornography inside a state prison transitional center.
The U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Georgia says Melton Padgett Jr. was in the Coastal Transitional Center in Savannah after serving a sentence for failing to register as a sex offender.
The Department of Justice says a tip to Georgia’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force led them to Padgett. They say he was sending the illegal images through a social media messaging service.
Racine man living with children in abhorrent conditions accused of possessing child porn
RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) A search warrant executed in Racine uncovered children living in abhorrent conditions and a man in possession of child pornography.
The Racine County Sheriff s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force conducted the search warrant for possession of pornography at a home near 19th and Taylor in Racine on March 30.
Upon entry, investigators noted that the target apartment was in complete disarray. Officials say the apartment was filled with garbage, with rotting food, and it was unsafe for the young children who lived there.

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WTVF) â A suspended Williamson County teacher was arrested after investigators say they found images of apparent child sexual abuse on his electronic devices.
Members of the Williamson County Sheriffâs Office, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Spring Hill Police Department arrested Alfred Amore Friday.

He faces multiple charges. Williamson County Sheriff s officials said in a press release that the victims depicted in the images appeared to be toddlers.
