He says gathering information about his movements could take a number of weeks.

A second woman has been charged with the murder of Rau Tongia. The 24-year-old is the third person charged in relation to the killing of the 33-year-old on December 20 at a property on Percy Dyett Dr in Karori. Detective Inspector Darrell Harpur, Wellington field crime manager, said “while the primary offenders have now been charged, I am confident it won t be the last”.

Police have spoken to its owner. But this vehicle along with possibly a dark-coloured, small hatchback type car were seen leaving Percy Dyett Dr near the time of the man’s death, he said. A short time later, both vehicles were captured on CCTV in the Karori central business district on Karori Rd heading towards central Wellington. “The investigation team would like to speak to anyone who has any information relating to both vehicles which were driving in convoy on Karori Road at around 4.44am.
