Sheriff s Office asks for help finding man missing since Sunday Iron County Sheriff s Office and last updated 2021-05-06 14:55:48-04 CEDAR CITY, Utah — The Iron County Sheriff s Office has requested the public s help in locating a man who disappeared Sunday. Tony Parra, 29, was last seen near the Pachea Trail area around 10:30 that morning. Parra is believed to have been on foot, but police don t know if he may have had a destination in mind. The Sheriff s Office described as Parra as white/Hispanic, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 180 pounds with black hair, brown eyes, and a dark, freckled complexion. Anyone with information that may help police locate Parra is urged to call 435-867-7500.

(KFVS) - The Iron County Sheriff’s Office has canceled an Endangered Silver Advisory Alert for a Ironton man, he was found safe. Chester Bradley, 88, was reported missing on Friday, April 9. Authorities said Bradley left his home sometime between 3 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. and could be traveling to a unknown casino in the St. Louis area. Bradley’s vehicle, a red 2012 GMC Canyon with a disabled Missouri plate, 0HJ80, was last seen westbound on Highway 72 heading into Ironton.

2 children hospitalized after sledding accident in Upper Peninsula Updated Mar 10, 2021; Facebook Share IRON COUNTY, MI – Two children needed to be airlifted to a Wisconsin hospital after a sledding accident in the Upper Peninsula. WLUC-TV reports the incident occurred at the Caspian Ski Hill, just off Iron County Road 424 in Iron County when the two children hit a tree while sledding around 5:40 p.m. on Monday. A 6-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl were riding in a sled together when they veered off the hill and hit a tree, the TV station reported. They are now recovering at a hospital in Milwaukee.

50-year-old man killed in Iron Co snowmobile crash

Created: February 28, 2021 03:16 PM The Iron County Sheriff s Office says a 50-year-old man was killed in a snowmobile accident on Saturday night. The sheriff s office says around 11:15 Saturday night they received a report of an unconscious male lying on Old Highway 61 in the Town of Mercer. The sheriff s office says they received further information the man was driving his snowmobile with a group, and had been thrown from it in the roadway. He was said to be unconscious, but breathing. When emergency personnel arrived on scene, the man stopped breathing, the sheriff s office says. Lifesaving measures were attempted, but unsuccessful.  The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity was not released.
